Marcia Mahony’s practice focuses on Employment, Labor, and Professional Liability matters. She routinely advises clients on various employment issues, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, labor law, and wage and hour issues. Marcia also regularly reviews and writes employment policies and manuals, responds to charges of employment discrimination filed against a client with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Indiana Civil Rights Commission, and other government agencies. Her employment practice has included representing municipalities and school districts in claims by employees and former employees. She also represents employers in employment litigation matters. Marcia also defends mental health professionals, psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, and marriage and family therapists in licensure actions before the Attorney General’s office and in malpractice litigation, including medical malpractice. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Marcia was a university administrator. She is a member of various legal and professional organizations.
