Timothy Stucky has served as an Attorney at Kightlinger & Gray’s New Albany office, since 2022. His civil litigation practice covers a wide array of legal areas, including real estate litigation, personal injury, premises liability, insurance subrogation, debt collection, employment disputes, and defending governmental entities and their employees. Tim represents clients before a range of authoritative bodies, including the Office of the Indiana Attorney General, the Indiana Civil Rights Commission, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, appearing frequently in both state and federal courts in Indiana. He frequently provides guidance to housing providers on various matters such as residential and commercial leasing, evictions, compliance with the Fair Housing Act and Americans with Disabilities Act. His practice also includes estate planning, where he prepares critical legal documents such as wills, powers of attorney, and health care designations, in addition to managing probate administration and related litigation.

 

Prior to joining Kightlinger & Gray, LLP, Tim clerked for an insurance defense firm in Indianapolis for three years, acquiring significant experience in defending professionals under their E&O policies. Tim has worked alongside realtors, mortgage brokers, appraisers, inspectors, property owners’ associations, and title companies. His work concentrated on business litigation, land use, property management, real estate litigation, construction disputes, and title and boundary disputes.
