Yolanda Cardona
Yolanda Cardona is a skilled litigator based in the Kightlinger & Gray Merrillville office, focusing on insurance coverage, bad faith, insurance defense, and civil litigation. She brings deep experience from her prior role as claim litigation counsel at a Fortune 50 insurance company, where she managed hundreds of cases involving premises liability and auto accidents, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims.
Yolanda has successfully defended clients through all phases of litigation, including jury and bench trials, and has argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. As a former supervising counsel, she led a team handling complex extra-contractual and bad faith matters.
She earned her undergraduate degree from Purdue University Northwest and her J.D., cum laude, from Valparaiso University Law School, where she participated in Moot Court and served as a law clerk for the Indiana Court of Appeals.
