Steve Palmquist has been practicing law for over 30 years. During that time, he has worked with clients to analyze problems and determine the best solutions for their business and personal legal needs. Steve focuses on Estate Planning and Probate administration, including guardianships, and the drafting of wills and trusts. Steve’s business practice includes the formation and organization of business entities, as well as the negotiation and drafting of contracts and other documents. Another major component of his practice involves real estate. These matters run the gamut from residential purchases to complex commercial transactions, and include title searches, document drafting, in the representation buyers, sellers, and lenders. Steve represents clients before zoning boards and other administrative agencies, as well as in real estate litigation. He was the spearhead of Priority Title, LLC, a former subsidiary of Kightlinger & Gray, LLP, which conducted real estate transactions and closings in Southern Indiana.
Steve is very involved in legal, professional, and charitable organizations, he is a member of the Indiana Land Title Association (ILTA.), the Treasurer and a Board Member of Indiana Legal Services – which provides free legal assistance to low-income Hoosiers, the Secretary and Board Member of the Jeffersonville Township Public Library, and is also a long-standing member of his local bar associations.
