

Katherine focuses her litigation practice in the areas of appellate law, insurance defense, premises liability, professional liability, and the defense of lawsuits filed against local governments and police officers. With respect to her civil rights defense work, Katherine’s experience offers a distinct perspective that allows her to provide collaborative and aggressive representation that fairly balances the sensitive nature of civil rights matters.
Katherine is a member of many associations and institutes, including the Floyd and Clark County Bar Associations, the Indiana State Bar Association, the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana, and the Defense Research Institute. Outside of work, Katherine is an avid falconer and President of the Indiana Falconer’s Association.
Katherine earned her B.A. from Morehead State University and graduated cum laude from the University of Louisville, Brandeis School of Law. She is admitted to practice in all Indiana and Kentucky State courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
