Jen Van Dame litigates complex tort and contract claims in both state and federal court. Jen has successfully represented clients defending high-stakes wrongful death, invasion of privacy, defamation, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and general negligence claims. She also has experience managing class actions and complex e-discovery issues, including Technology Assisted Review (TAR) of voluminous documents. She combines common sense with vigorous advocacy to find practical solutions and resolve matters efficiently.
Prior to joining Kightlinger & Gray, Jen was a judicial clerk for the Honorable Margret G. Robb of the Indiana Court of Appeals. Jen received her law degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and her bachelor’s degree in art history from Indiana University. Before law school, Jen worked in development and public relations with Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis.
