Ed Harcourt is an attorney in Kightlinger & Gray’s Indianapolis office, where he focuses his practice on Civil Litigation, primarily for clients in the Trucking, Transportation and Logistics industries.
Ed joined Kightlinger & Gray in 2016 after serving for two years in state government, first as a staff attorney in the Indiana Gaming Commission’s Legal Division and later as a staff attorney at in the Indiana Department of Natural Resources’ Office of Legal Counsel. In those roles, he handled a variety of duties, including representing the agencies before Administrative Law Judges, contract review and drafting and rule promulgation. He also previously held positions in a private litigation firm and with Marion Superior Court 12’s Environmental Division.
Ed earned his J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where he completed a certificate program in Environmental and Natural resources law. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Ball State University, where he was a member of Lambda Epsilon Chi, a national Political Science honor society.
