Jonathan D. Bailey, Director of Human Resources

Jonathan Bailey is the Director of Human Resources of Kightlinger & Gray, LLP. In this role, Jonathan leads the human resources team across the 5 offices of Kightlinger & Gray, LLP. He works alongside the leaders of the firm to attract, develop and retain high-caliber attorneys and legal professionals, provide mentorship across all departments and offices, and enrich the work experience of all Kightlinger & Gray, LLP personnel.

Jonathan’s prior experience includes over 18 years in legal administration and over 10 years in legal human resources management; this includes holding senior roles within an AmLaw 100 firm and as administrator over 1700+ employees. Jonathan is a people leader who understands and is passionate about collaboration, inclusivity, and overall positive contributions to the company’s work environment. He has knowledge in all aspects of human resources management including but not limited to, staff talent acquisition, compensation benchmarking and analysis, employee relations, performance evaluations, improvement plans, accommodation requests and separation meetings. In addition to people management, Jonathan is well-versed in operations management including department process improvement, work-flow systems to improve efficiency, and importantly, employee and client satisfaction in the day-to-day operations of Kightlinger & Gray, LLP.

Outside of work, Jonathan is the assistant pastor at Emmanuel Apostolic Church, where he inspires and engages the congregation through his public speaking skills, engagement and planning of events, and counseling services. Jonathan also enjoys spending time with his wife of 17 years and two children making new memories and engaging in family fun.
