Never Forgotten

Richard (Dick) Mullineaux, age 66, of Floyd Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019, at his home, surrounded by his loving family and close friends.

Dick was a Senior Partner with Kightlinger & Gray, LLP in New Albany, Indiana. He served as a leader in the firm and will be missed by his colleagues and clients. Dick was an outstanding leader. Throughout his legal career, he demonstrated a passion for mentoring young lawyers. He taught for several years at the Indiana Trial Advocacy College and was a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.

In 2010, Dick was presented the Indiana State Bar Association Civility Award, honoring an attorney for outstanding civility and professionalism in their dealings with fellow judges, attorneys, parties, witnesses, and the public. He was also selected for inclusion on the Indiana Super Lawyers list every year since 2010. Dick was a member of several legal and professional organizations. He was the secretary/treasurer of The Sherman Minton American Inn of Court, and served as a member of the firm’s Management Committee for over 15 years.

Dick had 39 years of legal experience assisting clients with Civil Rights, Construction, Professional Liability, Product Liability, and Transportation matters, as well as Corporate & Business Litigation.

Along with being an incredible lawyer, Dick was also a devoted public servant. He devoted his time and heart to family, church, and community. He believed in helping all people and poured his energy into serving those with disabilities. Dick is irreplaceable and we are honored to have worked with such an impactful and passionate person.
